Meerkats

A busy mob that takes turns on sentry duty. Two talks a day, the last one at half past four.

The meerkats are usually the noisiest thing in the park. One is always stood up watching the sky while the rest dig. They swap over; it is not always the same one being brave.

Meerkat talks are at 1.30pm and 4.30pm. The keeper feeds them while explaining how the group works and why they stand like that. It is a short talk and a good one for small children because you can see everything from the front.

Please do not feed the meerkats. Their diet is measured and they are very good at looking hungry.
