In very bad weather we sometimes close early or shut for the day for safety. We post changes on Facebook first, then here.

What to bring
Wellies or shoes you do not mind, a coat, socks for the play barn, and a change of clothes for anyone under five. Feed bags are sold at reception.

Seasons, bank holidays, winter and what happens in bad weather.
No, sorry. Dogs are not allowed in the park, apart from assistance dogs. It is a working farm with free-roaming birds and nervous rescue animals. Please do not leave a dog in the car.
Yes. There are picnic tables around the farm and hand-wash stations near them. Dexters Diner in the play barn does hot food if you would rather not carry lunch.
The play barn is three storeys and completely under cover, and the talks carry on in most weather; the keepers are used to it. Wellies are a good idea for the paddocks. In genuinely dangerous weather (high winds, ice) we may close early or for the day; we post that on Facebook first.
Yes. Parking is free and on site, with Blue Badge spaces close to the entrance.
Most families stay three to five hours. Arrive for 10am, catch the 11am fox feed, lunch, play barn, and the 4 o'clock talks to finish. On a hot day people come for the morning and go to the beach after.
