Wallabies

Bennett's wallabies you can walk among in the Wallaby Walkthrough. Watch your feet, they lie where they like.

The wallaby mob started with eight Bennett's wallabies rehomed from Jimmy's Farm in Suffolk. They have had joeys since, including Olaf, an albino youngster who is very easy to spot.

The Wallaby Walkthrough lets you go in with them. They are calm about people as long as people are calm about them, so walk slowly, keep pushchairs on the path and let them come to you. They can be fed with the bags sold at reception.

The wallaby talk is in the afternoon. It is a good one for the questions children actually ask, like whether the pouch is sticky (a bit) and whether they box (not ours).
