Three-storey indoor play barn

Indoors · All ages, with a separate under-3s area

The play barn is three storeys of soft play with drop slides, snake slides, ball pits and soft shapes, split into areas by age. Grown-ups can go in too; it is easier to find a child if you are on the same level as them.

Under-3s have their own area with a padded floor, soft seating for whoever is watching and a smaller ball pit.

Socks for everyone, please. Dexters Diner is inside the barn, so you can sit with a coffee and still see the slides.

Giant adventure play castle

Outdoors · Best for about 4 to 12

The outdoor castle has soft flooring, three levelled turrets, climbing walls, a rope bridge, a slide and an agility course. From the top turret you can see across the farm and out over the Somerset Levels.

Children should be supervised at all times on the castle; the rope bridge in particular is more fun with a grown-up watching.

Trampolines

Outdoors · All ages, one at a time

The trampolines are large, netted all the way round and next to the outdoor play. All children must be supervised while using them. Shoes off, one bouncer at a time per trampoline works best.

Picnic areas and trails

Outdoors · Everyone

There are picnic tables around the farm with hand-wash stations close by. Bring your own food if you like; nobody minds. The paths between paddocks are wide and level, so a lap of the farm with a pushchair is easy.

There are no rides here, on purpose

Years ago this farm had a tractor ride, a safari train and a lazy river. It does not now, and some older listings still say it does. Sorry if you were expecting them.

What is here instead is hands-on: feeding the goats, holding a guinea pig, walking through the wallabies, watching the foxes fed from a few feet away, and a play barn big enough to lose an afternoon in. Brean Theme Park down the road does rides very well. We do animals.

If anything on this page is closed on the day you visit, we will tell you at the gate and on Facebook first. We would rather you knew before you paid.
