Turkeys, chickens and other birds
Grey Slate turkeys among them, a rare breed with a lot to say.
Big, friendly and mostly asleep. You can feed them, but please drop the feed in the trough, not into a mouth.
The pigs are easy to find by ear. They are fed from the bags at reception, but not by hand. Tip the feed into their trough and step back. A pig's mouth is bigger than a child's hand.
On hot days they are in the wallow and on cold days they are in a pile in the straw. Either way, they are very good at being pigs.
